The person behind
LID Accounting Solutions

How it started

I’m Lynda Draper and in 2020, I took the leap and started my own practice, becoming an AAT Licensed Accountant, building it in the evenings and at weekends around a full time job. So when I say I understand competing responsibilities, I mean it.

By October 2025, I was juggling a job I wasn't even enjoying, supporting my family through sorting my parents' estates, and trying to grow my practice on the side. Something had to give, so I made the leap properly. I left my employed role, and from January 2026, LID Accounting Solutions became my full time focus.

These days, when I'm not hands on helping clients, I'm usually to be found in the great outdoors, walking, camping, swimming, or out exercising Dude.

Why I do this

I started this business with a simple vision, helping small business owners understand their finances, so they can achieve their dreams and never have to go back to a proper job. I help growing business owners across Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire get clear, confident control of their cashflow, with plain English advice and fast replies when you need them.

Wanting to push your business forward while unsure if you can afford it, feeling like you're guessing your numbers, and not knowing who to talk to about it, that loneliness is real. You didn't start your business to spend evenings and weekends trying to understand your finances and end up more confused, that's where I come in.

How I can help

My specialism is supporting female owners of growing businesses who need day to day control of their finances. I'm not the expert tax guru, though I have a good network of people who are, if that's ever needed. I'm the person who becomes part of your team, taking things off your plate so you can get on with what you actually intended for your business, a lifestyle that works around your responsibilities, whether that's family, friends, hobbies or important fur babies. Mine is a springer called Dude.

What you get with me

You get a person at the end of the phone, not an accountant who only speaks accountancy talk. I don't judge, and I'm happy to explain anything as many times as you need, so you can move forward with confidence.
